Madalitso Njobvu, born and raised in the cultural melting pot of Zambia is now a Shanghai-based portrait and street photographer. He combines his love for history, culture and technology to capture the best moments of the person in front of his lens. In his spare time he roams Shanghai’s concrete jungles and meadows to find something fascinating among the great and small; from bugs to towers. He believes the best moments are not tethered to the “perfect” pose or “good” technique , but rather tucked in between those fleeting split seconds flanked by the sound of the shutter and the flash of light. He takes pleasure in the process which he feels is akin to hunting for Easter eggs.
